Some of the Application Modules are add-on components to the base solution software that enable additional functionality like quicker filing of outside documents, bulk filing, and creation of a “frequently used” filing cabinet. Application Modules include:

Filer: This module allows you to file (Save as) from any Windows-compliant software that supports the ‘Save As’ function to a cabinet and folder in its native format. This module also allows you to drag and drop any file from the MS Explorer environment onto the desktop icon so you can then add documents into the document management solution environment. 

Imager: This module allows for bulk filing of images into the solution environment. 

Forms:  This module provides complete integration for ScanSoft’s award winning OmniForm using Active X control. Forms enhances OmniForm by allowing the user to directly file forms within the document management system solution, populate common fields across multiple forms, route forms to other users, export form data to an OBDC compliant database, and sign forms using a real-time signature pad or via entering a pin code. ScanSoft and OmniForm are trademarks or registered trademarks of ScanSoft, Inc. in the United States and other countries. 

Publisher: 

This module allows you to publish documents (print) from other software applications into a the document management solution cabinet folder. As a result, documents are saved as a standard TIFF or non-editable DMX image.  Publisher is a great tool for preserving text documents in a format that is “read” only. 

Tracker: 

This module helps you track down file locations and file access, so you’ll always know where your file is, where it’s been and who may have made changes. It also helps you track activities for regulatory compliance (HIPAA, SEC, etc.), and the Tracker provides general security, peace of mind, and overall efficiency.
